La Goccia Bar

Tucked away behind a dark velvet curtain, the secluded space is ideal to gather with friends and family while enjoying signature cocktails inspired by seasonal ingredients.

Our bar promises to make your evenings even more exciting with live music, DJ performances and entertainment. Inspired by nature and evolving with the seasons, the thoughtfully curated cocktails are made using botanicals, herbs and edible flowers. Enjoy seasonal cocktails, fine Italian wines and craft beers as well as non-alcoholic beverages, organic coffee and loose leaf tea.

The decor at La Goccia Bar draws inspiration from Petersham Nurseries’ horticultural heritage and understated grandeur. A striking centrepiece, the bar in La Goccia is made entirely from a variety of real leaves, individually hand cast in bronze. The bar allows for casual seating, lounging and dancing if desired. An ideal party venue in the heart of Covent Garden.

We proudly follow a slow food ethos, taking pleasure from food but with a commitment to the community and the environment. That means we source the best quality ingredients working closely with small and independent producers, including our own family farm – Haye Farm, a 66-acre mixed organic farm set in the breath-taking rolling hills of East Devon since 2014.

Ethos of Our Food

Provenance

Being one of the pioneers in the slow food movement, we celebrate traditional methods of growing quality ingredients. This ethos has flowed into building relationships with organic British suppliers and sourcing responsibly from small like-minded producers, including our own farm – Haye Farm Devon. Bringing the very best organic and sustainably produced meat and vegetables straight from the farm to our kitchens.

Seasonality

With our menus being refreshed through the season, our chefs only use produce which is at its peak. Most ingredients are British first, while some speciality ingredients are sourced from Italy – such as Parmesan, White Truffles, Olive Oil and Vanilla pods. As we are so seasonally led, the colours of the plate naturally reflect the changing view outside.

Simplicity

Our offering is simple in so far as we don’t seek to bathe ingredients in heavy sauces or to override or change their essence in any way. We are classicists. When we have beautiful produce, well grown and correctly sourced, we use them in our recipes in the simplest way to bring out their natural favour and beauty.
